Emilie Grace Lavoie travaille principalement la tridimensionnalité. Sa pratique interroge l'espace entre l’objet et son écologie ; la relation entre la pratique matérielle et les systèmes complexes, tels que les écosystèmes vivants, et les environnements dans lesquels ils se trouvent.

Emilie Grace Lavoie est une artiste, commissaire et membre du Collectif 3E, originaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, territoires des peuples Wəlastəkwewiyik, Mi'kmaq et Peskotomuhkati.

Lavoie détient un diplôme d'études collégiales en design de mode (2011) du Collège LaSalle, un baccalauréat en arts visuels de l’Université de Moncton (2016), ainsi qu’une maîtrise en beaux-arts d'Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2018).

Les œuvres de Lavoie ont fait l'objet de diverses expositions en Colombie-Britannique, en Alberta, au Québec et au Nouveau-Brunswick. Ses œuvres font partie de diverses collections privées et publiques, dont la banque d'art provinciale, collectionsArtNB, et le Musée des beaux-arts Beaverbrook.

En 2017, Lavoie a reçu la médaille d'argent aux VIIIe Jeux de la Francophonie d’ Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire) dans la catégorie Sculpture et Installation, représentant le Canada-Nouveau-Brunswick.

Emilie Grace Lavoie works primarily in three dimensions. Her practice questions the space between the object and its ecology; the relationship between material practice and complex systems, such as living ecosystems, and the environments in which they are found.

Emilie Grace Lavoie is an artist, curator, and member of the 3E Collective, from New Brunswick, the territories of the Wəlastəkwewiyik, Mi'kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati people.

Lavoie holds a Diploma of College Studies in Fashion Design (2011) from LaSalle College, a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Université de Moncton (2016), and a Master of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2018).

Lavoie's work has been featured in various exhibitions in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and New Brunswick. Her work is included in various private and public collections including the provincial art bank, collectionsArtNB, and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

In 2017, Lavoie received a silver medal at the VIIIth Games of La Francophonie in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) in the category Sculpture and Installation, representing Canada-New Brunswick.
